Auf kurzem weg ist man in einem großen Waldgebiet- ideal z.B. zum joggen. Die „Möhringer Höhe“ ist in 5 Gehminuten erreichbar, von hier aus sind ausgedehnte Radtouren möglich.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in Heslach (Aldi- mit dem Auto 3 min) und Vaihingen (Schwaben-Galerie -mit dem Auto 5 min)in erreichbarer Nähe. Ein Tante-Emma-Laden befindet sich im Wohngebiet.(2 Gehminuten)
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind in Vaihingen sowie Heslach reichlich vorhanden.
