In 2019, we extensively renovated our multi-family house with an elevator for energy efficiency. As part of this, an external thermal insulation composite system was applied to the facade and all windows were replaced with energy-efficient triple-glazed windows. This allows you to benefit from significantly reduced energy costs in the long term.
This bright, generously sized 2-room apartment is located on the 7th floor of our top-modernized multi-family house with an elevator. The apartment features a modern, disability-friendly bathroom with a shower as well as a beautiful balcony with a dream view.
The district Philippinenhof/Warteberg is the smallest in area in Kassel, located in the north of the city and is a purely residential area. Meadows, fields, forest patches, and allotment gardens surround the former Philippinenhof colony from the 18th century, which was supplemented in the 1930s by the Wartebergsiedlung. This is also the origin of the district's double name.
In the district Philippinenhof/Warteberg, the newer single-family home settlements on the outskirts around the streets Am Sandkopf and Weidestraße complement the older residential areas. These areas are the districts Alt-Philippinenhof and, to the left of Philippinenhöfer Weg, the Wartebergsiedlung. Characteristic for these districts are cooperative rental apartment buildings and a handful of high-rise buildings from the 1970s. The single-family home settlements around Staufenbergstraße and the Adam-von-Trott-zu-Solz settlement also belong to the district.
Basic services for everyday needs are available in the district. The connection to the public transport network is good. The natural and rural surroundings of Warteberg offer high local recreation quality and invite you to walks and hikes. A primary school, kindergartens, and various youth care facilities provide a family-friendly environment.
