Description
In 2026, we energetically renovated this 6-family house. In the process, all windows in the apartments as well as in the stairwell were replaced. Furthermore, the house was insulated and the heating was converted from gas floor heating to district heating. This allows you to benefit from significantly reduced energy costs in the long term. Finally, balconies were added to all apartments.
This well-maintained 3-room apartment is located on the 2nd floor of our modernized multi-family house on Rothenberg. The beautiful bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. In addition, the apartment has a great balcony.
In Rothenditmold, large plants of international industrial corporations, commercial areas, and railway facilities occupy half of the district's area. Nevertheless, the village character has been preserved in a small part. Green spaces, allotment garden associations, and the Döllbachaue offer sufficient contrasts to the industrial areas. Among the built-up areas is also an architectural special feature: the Rothenbergsiedlung.
Along with industrialization came the need for living space for workers. From 1929 to 1931, the renowned architect Otto Haesler built a settlement complex on Rothenberg that was innovative for its time and aimed to alleviate the housing shortage. The residential complex, regarded by contemporary international experts as one of the most important settlement projects of its time, is now a listed monument. Further residential buildings are grouped around the old former village center and along the main traffic artery Wolfhager Straße.
Retail and the private service sector are well represented in this district. Along Wolfhager Straße, there are numerous shops, small businesses, and gastronomic offerings. New companies have settled in some derelict industrial buildings. The connection to Kassel city center is ensured by buses of the public local transport system.
