Rostock stretches about 21 kilometres along the Warnow River to the Baltic Sea. Warnemünde and the coastline invite you to relax and are only a few minutes by car away. Germany's largest cruise port is also located in Warnemünde. Rostock can be reached via a very good motorway connection, by train or via Rostock-Laage Airport. "Toitenwinkel" is located on the eastern side of Rostock, between the districts of Gehlsdorf and Dierkow. Toitenwinkel was already mentioned in the 13th century and today has about 13,500 inhabitants. The village of Toitenwinkel was incorporated into Rostock in 1950.
