Dohna is the second oldest town in the Free State of Saxony. It is located in the district of Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge and is the seat of the administrative community Dohna-Müglitztal. The town of Dohna lies about 15 km southeast of Dresden and south of Heidenau at the entrance to the Müglitztal as the gateway to the Osterzgebirge.
