Poing lies directly east at the gates of the state capital Munich and is a thriving young community. With its green surroundings, Poing offers a lot not only for young families.
Seven kindergartens as well as a primary, secondary, and intermediate school are on site; a grammar school is in the neighboring Markt Schwaben, one S-Bahn station away. All daily shopping needs are available. The new town center and City Center Poing connect Old Poing with the new Poing Am Bergfeld district. There is a lot offered for leisure activities, the town has modern sports facilities, the Wildpark Poing and the Ebersberger Forest are suitable for excursions.
From Poing, it is about 20 kilometers to Munich's Marienplatz. Via the A 94, you can reach Munich in about 20 minutes. The S-Bahn takes 25 minutes to reach Munich city center. The airport is about 30 kilometers away.
