The municipality of Schöneck consists of the three districts Kilianstädten, Oberdorfelden, and Büdesheim and is located about 15 km northeast of the Rhine-Main metropolis Frankfurt. The proximity to Frankfurt makes Schöneck a popular residential area. In Oberdorfelden, the street festival and the oven festival are celebrated annually. The sports club has moved into its newly built home and thus offers many clubs a meeting point. The Regenbogen kindergarten is the best contact point for newly arrived families. The Niddertalbahn takes about 26 minutes to Frankfurt main station and about 12 minutes to Bad Vilbel. On the other side, the train runs to Glauburg-Stockheim. Via the B 521, Bad Vilbel, Maintal, or Hanau can be reached quickly. The route continues via the B3 to the A661 and to Frankfurt.
