Dear prospective tenants,
an exemplary project is being developed in the popular Inner South:
Ecological wooden construction combined with rent-controlled housing!
The whole is designed with high architectural standards, with further highlights:
- low energy costs due to KfW 55 construction standard
- provision of carsharing vehicles, mostly electric (operated by TeilAuto/Cityflitzer)

The rental of all 76 apartments (except for two) is exclusively to holders of a white Wohnberechtigungsschein (WBS)!
About 34% of Leipzig's population is entitled to a white Wohnberechtigungsschein. Usually, students and trainees are also included. They are also very welcome as tenants!
IMPORTANT: As landlords, we decide to whom we want to offer a rental contract. There is no automatic right that every interested tenant with a white WBS will get an apartment. We select our tenants very carefully. We ask for your understanding in advance.
About the concept of the building:
The surfaces should, as far as possible, remain in the material they are made of. This mainly concerns the walls and ceilings in the apartments. Here, the surfaces have been left as visible wood to the greatest extent possible. This creates an incomparable, natural room climate. The wood surfaces also regulate humidity.
The solid wood exterior walls (up to 24 cm thick) also provide incomparable thermal insulation. The KfW 55 energy efficiency standard is achieved.
The surfaces in the stairwells should also remain largely untreated, i.e., they present a "cool concrete look." This makes them less susceptible to dirt: dirt is much more noticeable on white walls than on concrete surfaces. The walking surfaces on the stairs and balconies remain uncovered. Thus, the 'rough common areas' form an appealing contrast to the rather warm and cozy living spaces.
The first occupancy should be possible from 01.10.2026 if everything goes perfectly. However, we still cannot guarantee this; it might also be 01 November!
Each apartment has partly very generous balconies.
