The Senior Residence Langenhorn was extensively modernized until early 2023. This includes the renewal of windows, thermal insulation, bathroom renovation, kitchen renovation, stairwell, and outdoor facilities. Furthermore, the Senior Residence Langenhorn was supplemented by a new building.

Residents live in their own barrier-free apartments in the senior residence. The facility also has day care, a common room, an in-house restaurant, a physiotherapy practice, needs-based services, as well as a residential facility with outpatient care, which allows residents to remain in their familiar environment even in the event of needing care.

The Senior Residence Langenhorn is located in a green and quiet residential area by the Tarpenbek, in the diverse district of Langenhorn. The location is ideal for both nature lovers and city dwellers.

The very good public transport connections allow quick access to shopping facilities such as the "Herold Center" shopping mall in Norderstedt. The nearby surroundings also offer some shopping opportunities. There is a larger shopping street at the U-Bahn station Ochsenzoll, as well as the weekly market at Schmuggelstieg.

The U-Bahn station "Ochsenzoll" is within a few minutes' walking distance. The U1 line and various bus lines run regularly until late evening to the city center, about 30 minutes away, and back.

• Mediation of patient transports,
• Information about care aids and establishing contacts.
