The apartment also has a balcony and a shared kitchen. Bathroom and toilet are separate, which is very practical :)

Location
The renovated old building apartment is located in the district "Neustadt". Both the harbor and Jungfernstieg/the city center are about 15 minutes on foot.

The beautiful park "PlantenUnBloomen" and the Reeperbahn are even closer.

Due to gentrification in recent years, some hipster cafes and bars are currently emerging here.

The apartment is very well connected to public transport and everything from organic shops to discount stores is available.

I am Christiane, 62 years old and an illustrator by profession.

For about 4 years I have been renting my room repeatedly to female students and have only had positive experiences, so I am already looking forward to the next one.

A harmonious coexistence is important to me, where everyone gets the space they need and at the same time a community is created.

My daughter describes me rather as a "sweet crazy bird" and definitely not as an "overmother".

Why I rent out my room:

Since my daughter Lisa (26) moved out, I have one room too many here.

We came up with the idea to look for roommates among her fellow students who, due to mandatory internships, are initially only looking for a room for phases.

This has proven to be a very positive experience, which is why several great shared flats have formed over the past years.

This time we searched a bit late for a new roommate among the medical students, hence the first time here on WG-Gesucht.
