The apartment is fully furnished and rented initially for six months. It is especially suitable for commuters, project staff, or people looking for a move-in ready apartment in Köln for a limited period.
The rental period is initially planned from 1.11.2026 to 31.04.2026. Since I will be abroad during this time, there is basically the possibility to extend the rental agreement afterwards by mutual agreement. Whether and for what period an extension is possible will be clarified in good time, at the latest three months before the end of the rental contract.
A reliable and careful person is sought who will treat the apartment like their own home during my absence.
The apartment is located in Köln/Rodenkirchen on the border to Weiß/Sürth (Sürth Nord - Am Feldrain) and offers about 60m2 of sufficient space for a single person or a couple. It is on the 1st floor of a well-maintained multi-family house and consists of 2 rooms, kitchen, bathroom, and a balcony where two people can comfortably sit.
The living room is furnished with a sofa, TV, dartboard, cupboard, and table and offers direct access to the balcony. The bedroom contains a double bed, wardrobe, and desk. The bedroom also has access to the balcony and a complete window front. The windows are equipped with blackout blinds. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes, among other things, an oven, stove, refrigerator, dishwasher, coffee machine, washing machine. The kitchen is somewhat aged but fully functional and not broken. Items for daily use such as dishes, cutlery, and cooking utensils are also available.
Further equipment includes Wi-Fi, workspace, smart TV, automatic heating control. Personal items will of course be largely removed before renting, so there is enough storage space available.
The apartment is located in a quiet/green environment. Shopping facilities, restaurants, and public transport are reachable within a few minutes. Tram line 16 is about a 10-minute walk away but can be reached faster by a bus that departs directly around the corner. I personally do not take the train much but usually take an e-scooter or the car to depart at the Michaelshoven or Sürth stop. From Sürth, the main station can be reached in about 15 minutes.
