5-person shared flat Saarbrücken City

Rooms
The shared flat room is handed over unfurnished. The furniture shown in the pictures is not included. The windows facing the street are very soundproof and effectively block noise. The sun shines in directly at times during the day, but generally the room is pleasantly bright all day long. No renovations are necessary.

The shared flat is on the ground floor and first floor of a multi-party building and has a total of six rooms. On the ground floor there are three rooms and two bathrooms each with a toilet and shower. On the upper floor there are two more rooms, the living room, the kitchen, and a third bathroom with a toilet. The floors are connected within the flat by a private spiral staircase. The living room is really large and offers ideal space with the adjoining dining area for shared flat evenings, socializing, or celebrations.

A courtyard can be used by all parties and offers sufficient parking spaces for bicycles. It is a good place to meet and spend time together. There are also other shared flats living in the building.

Overall, the shared flat offers a very relaxed spatial feeling as well as storage options and free corners that can be creatively designed!

Location
The location of the shared flat is really great. Mainzer Straße is just around the corner, so you can easily walk to the city center or the Nauwieser Viertel.

Public transport access points, from which almost every line (including to the university) can be reached, are less than 10 minutes on foot away. The entire journey to the UdS campus including walking and bus takes between 30 and 40 minutes.

Lidl, Aldi, and Edeka are within a 5-minute walk. There is also a kiosk around the corner as well as numerous restaurants, hairdressers, and shops on the nearby Mainzer Straße and Großherzog-Friedrich-Straße.

Shared flat life
We are a mixed shared flat of students and working flatmates.

Luca (24) from Stuttgart studies music management at UdS. In his free time he likes to do sports or music, enjoys meeting friends, and is almost always up for a beer or a chat.

Jakob (27) is already working. He works in shift service and therefore has irregular working hours, which we take into account. He likes playing beach volleyball and is often spontaneously up for cooking or having a drink in his free time.

Margo (22) is an intensive care nurse. She is new to the flat. She participates in everything and is a ray of sunshine :)

Jey (26) is doing a trainee program and works as a waiter on weekends. He is often out and about but is happy to join for a cigarette and/or a beer in the evening :)
