This barrier-free 2-room apartment is located on the 3rd floor of our modernized multi-family house with an elevator. The disability-friendly bathroom is equipped with a walk-in shower. In addition, the apartment has a great balcony.

The district of Waldau, together with Bettenhausen and Forstfeld, forms the southeastern city boundary of Kassel. The purely residential area, which was developed in 1960 west of the former village of Waldau, is complemented by a large and popular leisure and recreation area as well as the largest contiguous industrial area in Hesse in the southern part. This district offers a wonderful living experience for the population and a fertile ground for successful business.

The population of the small village settlement of Waldau exploded when in 1963 a residential area consisting of four- to five-story buildings with about 2,000 new apartments was built. A testament to the small village is still the Zehntscheune, a historic building from the 16th century, lovingly restored in 1976.
