This family-friendly 3-room apartment is located on the ground floor of our multi-family house in Nordstadt. The bright tiled bathroom is equipped with a bathtub. Additionally, the apartment has a practical storage room and a nice balcony.

The Nord-Holland district in the north of Kassel is also briefly called Nordstadt. Where previously commercial and metalworking businesses dominated the district and promoted the settlement of many people, today the district is characterized by the university, retail stores, some large contiguous public green spaces, and densely populated residential areas with a multicultural population.

In the central district Vordere Nordstadt, besides important public institutions such as the main post office, employment office, vocational schools, and fire department, is the University of Kassel, which provides student life throughout the surrounding area. The gastronomic and cultural offerings in this part of Nordstadt mainly benefit the adjacent residential areas: Nord-Holland, along the main traffic artery Holländische Straße, with simple multi-storey apartment buildings, and the residential area around Hegelsberg, mixed with single and two-family houses, with medium housing density and good equipment standards.

Holländische Straße, historically the main arterial road leading north, runs through the entire district and houses many shops, service businesses, a few industrial companies, and gastronomic establishments. This ensures optimal and fast connections to Kassel city center by car, tram, and bus, as well as supply with everything needed for daily life. In the middle of the district is the 40-hectare main cemetery, the green lung of the district. With its green areas and fountains, it resembles a park and invites people to walk and linger. The site of a former slaughterhouse is now used and enlivened by a vocational school center, a community center (Philip-Scheidemann-Haus), and the cultural center Schlachthof.
