This friendly 3-room apartment is located on the ground floor of our well-maintained 6-family house in Forstfeld. The bright bathroom is equipped with a shower.
The relatively small district of Forstfeld is located on the southeastern city border between the districts of Bettenhausen and Waldau. The dominant residential building type in the settlement areas developed since the 1930s is the 1- and 2-family house with garden plot. Only in the Heinrich-Steul settlement, built in the 1970s, are multi-storey rental apartment buildings found.
Today, the districts of Forstfeld, Lindenberg, the residential quarter Erlenfeld, and the Heinrich-Steul-Straße settlement are referred to. Except for the multi-storey building complex on Heinrich-Steul-Straße and a cluster of rental houses with two floors and developed attic in the residential district of Forstfeld of the same name, family houses characterize the district's appearance. Especially in the districts of Lindenberg and Erlenfeld, many elderly people live, partly in owner-occupied homes or in senior residences.
On Leipziger Straße, the main traffic artery running through the northern part of the district, there are service providers and retailers. It is also the direct connection to the city center or the highway.
In Forstbachweg, which runs through the districts of Forstfeld and Lindenberg, there is still a small and fine local center with public facilities for children and youth and offers sufficient shopping opportunities. Here and around the Lindenberg senior residence, there are green areas for walking and relaxing.
The connection to public transport is optimal. Both by tram and bus, one is quickly and well connected to the city center of Kassel.
