Description
We, the Karlsruher Burschenschaft Teutonia, rent out several rooms in our fraternity house with private bathrooms directly on the main campus of KIT for 250,- € per month (all-inclusive) to KIT students.
The rooms' own bathrooms with toilet, sink, and shower are cleaned every two weeks by a cleaning company. This cleaning is included in the rent. Each room is furnished and also has an internet connection (leased line) with direct access to the KIT network and a built-in wardrobe. The entire house is also equipped with high-performance Wi-Fi.
The room is partially furnished and can also be fully furnished with your own furniture if needed. Included are a built-in wardrobe, a 1-meter-wide bed, a shelf, and a desk. The photos shown of the room are only examples and partly contain personal furniture. It is best to see it for yourself on site.
Additionally, our house offers several versatile common rooms. These include:
- a communal kitchen,
- a well-equipped and stocked bar,
- a banquet hall with piano,
- a balcony with an unobstructed view of the university,
- a shared living room,
- four spacious study rooms,
- a multifunctional fitness room,
- a dining room,
- several guest rooms,
- a lounge with armchairs and a billiard table,
- a communal garden with BBQ grill,
- a large pool for the hot summer days.
The Karlsruher Burschenschaft Teutonia is an association of students and alumni of the former University of Karlsruhe, today’s KIT. Currently, it connects about twenty students and 170 alumni of the university.
Our community actively promotes interdisciplinary exchange during studies and between generations. To support this, students organize various events on soft skills, career fields, and social and economic-political topics during the semester.
Our house is located in Oststadt, a quiet residential area and one of the most popular districts among students. From our house, you only need to cross the street to enter the KIT campus.
The Hardtwald and Schlossgarten parks are within walking distance. They offer plenty of space for sports activities and relaxation.
Good transport connections are also available via the Karl-Wilhelm-Platz bus and tram stop, just 4 minutes away. Numerous parking spaces are available around our house, for which no resident parking permit is required.
