The residential building is located in the popular district of Hannover-Südstadt in a quiet residential street. Südstadt is very central near the city centre and offers a high recreational value. Not only people from Südstadt like to spend their leisure time at Maschsee and in the adjacent city forest Eilenriede.
Südstadt is today the most populous district in Hannover after List. The main traffic axes are Marienstraße from the east and Hildesheimer Straße from the south, both leading to Aegidientorplatz.
It is a very densely populated district with good infrastructure. Diverse shopping opportunities and numerous service providers are within a short distance. Public transport is also very well developed with seven light rail and three bus lines as well as an S-Bahn connection (Bismarckstraße station).
There are many schools, including five grammar schools alone as well as several schools with a special educational profile (Südstadt School, Free Waldorf School, Montessori School), which is why many children and young people from other districts also come to Südstadt. Furthermore, there are many sports clubs with a wide range of offerings.
