A new building, the Cecilien-Carré with 272 apartments, is being constructed at Cecilienstraße, corner of Hellersdorfer Straße. The first construction phase with 128 apartments will be completed in autumn or winter, with the remaining construction work finishing by the end of 2028. The residential complexes are 5 to 7 floors high and offer 2- to 5-room apartments with sizes of approximately 41 to 97 sqm. Each complex is equipped with an elevator. Around 60 percent of the apartments are subsidized and allocated to applicants with a Wohnberechtigungsschein (WBS). The roofs of the buildings will be extensively greened and equipped with photovoltaic modules. Tenants have the option to use the locally generated electricity by signing an electricity supply contract with the provider EINHUNDERT. The residential park includes 50 car parking spaces and 675 bicycle parking spaces.

The Cecilien-Carré is located in the Hellersdorf district. The Spree-Center with diverse shopping options and a medical center is about a 3-minute walk away. Various playgrounds, daycare centers, primary schools, and a high school are also nearby. In the surrounding area, there are also various sports fields and leisure facilities, including a bowling center, a swimming pool, and a fitness studio. Several green and park areas such as Kienbergpark and Hof-Park for local recreation are located around the Cecilien-Carré. Directly in front of the Carré are bus stops for lines 191, 197, and 291, from which the Gardens of the World can be reached in about 15 minutes. The Kaulsdorf-Nord subway station (U5) is within walking distance; from there, the travel time to Alexanderplatz is about 25 minutes.
