Henstedt-Ulzburg is a municipality in the Segeberg district in Schleswig-Holstein.
The municipality is located about 15 km north of the Hamburg city border on the A7. The terminals of Hamburg Airport are about 20 kilometers away, the Hamburg city center just under 30 kilometers.
Henstedt-Ulzburg is served by several express and regional train lines as well as the AKN. The buses of Verkehrsbetriebe Hamburg-Holstein AG (VHH) connect the districts of the municipality with the AKN station Henstedt-Ulzburg, considered the center of the town. From here, bus line 293 leads to the Norderstedt Mitte subway station.

The rivers Alster and Pinnau originate in the municipality. At the border with Ellerau lies the source of the Ebach.
