The redesign of the VONOVIA residential quarter in Duisburg Hüttenheim is almost complete with the construction of the two new buildings at Dürerstr. 2 and Heinrich-Bierwes-Str. 7. The work is in the final stages, so we can now start renting.
The rental start date is January or February 2027!
A total of 39 apartments of various types and sizes with 1, 2, and 4 rooms have been created.
The ground floor apartments have terraces including garden shares. The 4 x 2-room apartments on the staggered floor in Dürerstraße have roof terraces and the remaining apartments have balconies.
It should be mentioned that both buildings have an elevator that runs from the basement to the upper floor.
The stairwell is also flooded with light through a large skylight. In the basement there are washing machine spaces for each apartment, tenant cellars, and spacious bicycle cellars.
Both new buildings have an outdoor exit in the form of a long ramp to facilitate parking of e-bikes, bicycles, and/or bike trailers.

All apartments are barrier-free, have underfloor heating, electric blinds, an intercom system, and will be handed over ready to move in.
Parking spaces for tenants of these buildings will also be created in front of both houses. These can be rented if needed. The rent will be 50.00 euros per parking space.
During the previous redesign of the green spaces in the quarter, our little residents were considered. Among other things, a playground with a swing, balancing device, slide, sandbox, rope spider, and seesaw was created. In addition, a boule court, a wildflower meadow with an insect hotel, and raised beds were created.
