18m2 Room - 3-Person Shared Apartment

Room
The room is 18m2 in size and has windows facing south. The room faces Tischbeinstraße. Although this street has moderate traffic, it is relatively quiet because a few trees in the garden provide sound protection.

Nails may be used. Drilling is not possible everywhere because the wall is quite old. The heating works and was recently serviced. However, the radiators are quite old and heat is lost through the windows. Therefore, a curtain is quite useful.

There is also a wardrobe in the room that can be purchased for 100€.

Location
The apartment is located on Kantstraße in Wehlheiden and is therefore very central. This means you can reach almost every area of Kassel quite well by bus and train and also by bicycle, and all quite quickly. The Murhardstraße and Kirchweg stops of train lines 1 and 3 are a 5-10 minute walk, depending on walking speed. There is also a bus going down towards Aue/Weinberg and then into the city from Kurt-Kerstenplatz, which is literally less than 50 meters from the front door. By bike, you can reach the Aue in 5 minutes, on foot about 15 minutes.

There are also plenty of supermarkets. Netto, 2 x Rewe, Lidl, Edeka, and also Tegut are all reachable within a maximum of 10 minutes. There is also a Döner pizza shop directly on Kantstraße* and Herbstapfel with many vegan dishes and a lunch menu is not far away.

The nearest university location is the Ing-school, where you can also find great cafeterias; the cafeteria there is never particularly crowded. The Art University is also easily reachable by bike or bus and the Holländische Platz is also quickly accessible.

Hi,

I am Thomas, 31 years old. I studied teaching and worked at a school for some time. In August I quit the job and am currently traveling, currently in Vietnam. I will probably be abroad until January, which is why the lovely Mel is taking over the roommate search.

I also like to go to the gym regularly in the evening. I really enjoy cooking after sports, also gladly in company. Otherwise, I currently spend my late evenings at the computer or watching TV, but I am always open to activities or games if my schedule allows.

On weekends, I also like to go to a bar or dance. Preferably to techno - but I actually like to move to almost any music. Otherwise, I am open to new things and look forward to roommates with ideas for activities.
