Bright Shared Apartment Room with Balcony in Südweststadt

Room
Since I am moving in with my boyfriend, I unfortunately have to move out of my current shared apartment. Therefore, we are now looking for someone to take over my room!

The room is about 20 m2 and faces the courtyard. From there you can go directly onto the balcony. It is nice and bright and the sun shines in the afternoon.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor and has 3 rooms. Our favorite place is the large kitchen with dining table. It has everything you need: dishwasher, oven, stove, kettle, toaster and so on. We also have a washing machine and the costs for WLAN are included in the warm rent. In the basement there is a shared storage space that can also be locked.

The balcony faces the backyard. We have already spent some lovely summer evenings there.

Location
The apartment is in Südweststadt in Karlsruhe. It is only a 3-minute walk to the Otto-Sachs-Straße stop, about 7 minutes to Karlstor. From there you can easily get to the train station and the city center, even in the evenings. By bike you are at Edeka in 4 minutes, and dm and other shops are also quickly reached. You can lock your bikes right in front of the door, we have never had any problems with that in the last three years. A few really nice cafés like Klauprecht and Karla and Gut are also just around the corner.

Nevertheless, it is really quiet with us. The room faces the back, so in summer you can sleep very well with the window open.

Shared Apartment Life
There are three of us: Marie, Teresa and me (soon you!). Marie and Teresa are both doing their master's in primary school teaching at PH. It is relaxed and harmonious with us. Everyone does their own thing, but in the evenings we like to sit in the kitchen, cook together or play something. We all also like being creative.

With Marie you can explore every café in the area, she is always up for fun and there is always something to laugh about with her. Teresa loves cooking and regularly provides us with baked goods, so you will always have something to snack on.

We have a cleaning schedule that rotates weekly so that it is fairly distributed.

Other
We are looking for someone who is open and also sometimes wants to spend a longer evening in the kitchen just chatting. The room would probably be available from February 2027, but we are relatively flexible and depending on the situation something else could be arranged. Whether I leave furniture is something we can discuss during the viewing. Just write us a few lines about yourself and then we will arrange an appointment.
