In 2008, the former warehouse 11 was restored and converted into a modern residential and commercial building. Its original design, created by the Cologne architectural firm Schreiterer & Below, won an architecture competition in 1998 for the new construction of the Rheinauhafen. Warehouse 11 is a very interesting example of early reinforced concrete construction. The beautiful ribbed vault on the ground floor is supported by classically shaped reinforced concrete round columns. This, along with the historic building structures on the ground floor, is fully preserved. The part of the building towards the bridge is used as office space. The southern part contains exclusively high-quality rental apartments.
This apartment offers plenty of space for details and individual design options. The large floor-to-ceiling windows flood the rooms with light. The apartment is divided into two bedrooms/workrooms, a spacious living room with an open kitchen area, one bathroom with a shower, another bathroom with a freestanding bathtub, double sinks and a shower area, as well as a very practical storage room.
