Extensive shopping opportunities are offered by the shopping centers Volksdorf, Berne, Rahlstedt and Farmsen, which are quickly reachable by public transport. Each also has various specialist doctors.

Bus lines 275 and 24 are 2 and 3 minutes on foot from the house. These provide quick access to the U1 Berne station or the Rahlstedt S-Bahn station. The A1-Stapelfeld motorway entrance is about 8 minutes by car.

Furthermore, the nature reserve "Stellmorer Tunneltal" (approx. 7 minutes on foot) with its cycling, inline skating and skating tracks offers excellent recreational opportunities, as does the nearby Volksdorfer Forest (approx. 15 minutes on foot).
