⚠️ Important information in advance:

Living in our shared apartment involves volunteering. Keep this in mind if you are interested in joining us.

Please write your inquiry in German and express yourself as simply as possible so that all roommates in the shared apartment can understand your message. This is because not all our roommates understand and speak foreign languages.

You have your own room in our shared apartment that you can furnish as you like. The rooms are all between 12 and 18 square meters in size and each has a large window. ✨

The room is available from 01.07.26.

Location
St. Arnual is a quiet and beautiful neighborhood and district of Saarbrücken.

Within walking distance of the apartment there are supermarkets, pharmacies, restaurants, an ice cream parlor, a billiard café, and a post office.

You can also reach green spaces with a city farm and alpaca farm in just a few minutes. 🦙

You can get to the city center very well by bus within a few minutes, by bike in about fifteen minutes, and on foot within half an hour.

Shared Apartment Life
i️ What does living for help mean?

🫶 As a roommate without support needs, you live rent-free excluding utilities. In return, you provide daily assistance to your roommates with support needs. Your volunteer work consists of being present in the shared apartment on one weekday from 6:10 to 7:10 and from 16:00 to 22:00, as well as on two weekend days within 5 weeks, helping and living inclusion. Whether you cook dinner for the shared apartment, do activities with your roommates, or do the shopping for the shared apartment on the weekend. Sounds like everyday life? It can actually also be inclusion. Because inclusion is diverse and each of us has a slightly different understanding of what it means.

🍝 We all eat together every evening and buy groceries from a shared apartment fund to which everyone contributes 155,-€ per month.

We are planned to be 6 roommates with support needs and 5 roommates without support needs.

🏳️‍🌈 We are a colorful mix of 11 people. Whether you study, do an apprenticeship, or already work does not matter at all. We accept you as you are. No matter where you come from, what gender, sexual orientation, or religion you have. What matters to us is that we live together in our shared apartment, support each other, and want to grow together.

🏡 We have a large living, kitchen, and dining area as well as a beautiful balcony. Almost always is
